These appointment fees are redeemable against the purchase of your wedding dress.

If you wish to cancel your bridal appointment and receive a refund of your appointment fee, we please ask that you email hello@whitelaceandbutterflies.co.uk to notify us of your cancellation. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for a midweek appointment and a minimum of 5 days notice for a Saturday appointment. Any missed appointments or cancelled appointments that have been notified within a shorter timeframe than outlined are non-refundable.

We receive lots of messages asking us when our next sale day will be so we have decided to take a new approach and add a number of sale days to our diary. Until the end of July we will be holding ‘Flash Sale Friday’ - an exciting opportunity for brides looking for an incredible dress at an insanely discounted price.

Flash Sale Friday appointments will be free of charge, however please note that you will be limited to trying on sale dresses only and should you wish to try non- sale dresses, a new appointment would need to be scheduled and paid for. Please note that these appointments are in high demand so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Dresses purchased on a Flash Sale Friday will be sold at a heavily discounted price which is applicable on sale dates only. Many dresses will be priced at £750.

There is one of each sample dress in the one size and colour. This sale has limited sizes available from a UK10-UK14- (please note that bridal sizing can run a little on the small side compared to high street).

Sample dresses will be paid for in full and taken away on the day with the details of our recommended seamstress service.

apppointment top tips

Dress shopping should be a relaxed, comfortable and wonderfully happy experience. Many brides waste so much time and energy panic buying for a discreet bra and/or miracle knickers in preparation for their bridal appointments. Girls, please don’t, it’s totally unnecessary. We totally understand that you may be feeling nervous or self-conscious about stripping down in the changing room for the first time in front of a total stranger, but we promise, this isn’t our first rodeo, we will make it super relaxed and after a few dresses it will all feel totally normal and you’ll be a pro.

Your chosen dress will do what you want it to do without the need for a bra underneath, some gowns have built-in boning and structure which totally eliminates the need for a bra alongside, you will get such a better feel for the dress if you ditch the bra. Nude knickers are helpful but quite honestly definitely not essential for the trying on process, we will happily advise once your dress is chosen which undies would go best underneath, and this can all be experimented with at fitting stage.

Remember that we are here to advise, we know our dresses inside and out and we have the knowledge to tweak designs in order to add that little extra bust support, or to soften a plunge by adding a little lace, so always be honest and open about the things that make you feel confident and comfortable in a wedding dress.

Many of our brides also panic that the dresses won’t fit upon arrival ... panic not girls, our average sample size is a UK14. Of course we have dresses in smaller sizes as well as larger sizes too.

It’s simple really - The gown that makes you feel the most beautiful is the gown you should choose. Even if a gown seems way off all of your criteria and Pinterest inspo, tuning in to feelings can help you decide between dresses and lead you to that magical moment when you've finally found "the one."
