Here at White Lace and Butterflies we strongly believe that each and every bride is beautiful regardless of size or shape. We strive to offer the most personal, fun and comfortable experience whether you’re a size 10 or a size 24 and we are so proud and excited to have hand picked some of the most gorgeous gowns for our curvy girls. We carry six fabulous designers within the boutique with sizes ranging from UK10 – UK18 and we are totally ecstatic to have come across the wonderful “Callista”, a stunning collection of wedding dresses from size UK14 – UK32. Callista offer something a little different and we feel that their gowns totally and utterly embrace and celebrate curves. From sexy silhouettes, intricate beading and full on florals, the collection is so super on trend and we can’t wait to help you find your dream gown.
“What does ‘”Callista” mean?

As the original Greek name suggests, “Callista” epitomizes the “Most Beautiful” gowns for the most beautiful women.

Our designers have been creating gowns specifically for the fuller figure bride for many years, constructed to accommodate the needs of the fuller figure in terms of style, support and perfect fit. Every effort is made to make every bride feel special and give shape to the curves she loves.”

“Girls of all kinds can be beautiful – from the thin, plus-sized, short, very tall, ebony to porcelain-skinned; the quirky, clumsy, shy, outgoing and all in between. It’s not easy though because many people still put beauty into a confining, narrow box…Think outside of the box…Pledge that you will look in the mirror and find the unique beauty in you.” Tyra Banks

“I wrote “Bootylicious” because, at the time, I’d gained some weight and the pressure that people put you under, the pressure to be thin, is unbelievable. I was just 18 and you shouldn’t be thinking about that. You should be thinking about building up your character and having fun, and the song was just telling everyone to forget what people are saying, you’re bootylicious. That’s all. It’s a celebration of curves and a celebration of women’s bodies.” Beyonce

“I had to grow to love my body. I did not have a good self-image at first. Finally it occurred to me, I’m either going to love me or hate me. And I chose to love myself. Then everything kind of sprung from there. Things that I thought weren’t attractive became sexy. Confidence makes you sexy.” Queen Latifah

Here are just a few from the collection we have chosen and we can’t wait to welcome you into our Buckinghamshire Bridal Boutique to try them on.
