With our newest additions for the new season now starting to arrive into the boutique, here’s a glimpse of how we have incorporated the strongest trends for 2018 within our unique collections and we are so excited.

Statement Bows ~ This season, the bows are bigger and better than ever. Fitted silhouettes adorned with bold, statement bows scream glamour. Are fabulous designer Grace Philips rocks this trend better than any other designer, go big or go home.

Cascading Ruffles ~ Be a princess for the day and bring the drama with this frilly, ultra-feminine detail. All over ruffles add dimension to a slim silhouette, while a full skirt of cascading ruffles is beautifully whimsical and fashion forward. Our wonderful British designer Nicola Anne has absolutely nailed this trend with the stunning ‘Balmoral’ for 2018.

Pinks ~Pink reigned supreme as the non-ivory bridal colour of choice this season. From the lightest, barely there blush to embroidered florals, pink is still a major colour for weddings next year — and we’re totally in love with it.

Hi- low Hemline ~ The hi-low hemline is the perfect bridal trend for the indecisive bride. If you’re struggling to decide between a short or long hemline, this fabulous shape will prove the ideal compromise (and it’s a great way to show off a pair of beautiful bridal shoes too)!

Embroidery ~ Bold embroidered florals are a literal extension of the bouquet, oh so pretty and subtly unusual.  We are so excited to receive a new addition to our Agnes collection of colourful bloom embroideries backed on traditional ivory fabrics. This gown is in fact my personal favourite from the entire 2018 show.

Bridal Separates ~Here at WL&B we utterly adore bridal separates and are so pleased that the trend continues. Versatile, stylish and the perfect choice for a modern bride-to-be. If you fancy something a little different to a traditional wedding dress, then consider rocking bridal separates on your big day. These fashionable two-piece ensembles suit any style of wedding, from an elegant country garden affair, boho-inspired festival to grand country estate. There are no rules when it comes to your aisle style, and there are so many gorgeous designs to choose from.

Capes and Boleros ~A bridal cape or shorter capelet is the perfect addition. It adds dimension to your gown, but it feels modern. Plus, this trend is an easy way to pull off a mid-wedding outfit change. Wear a cape or bolero for your ceremony, then whisk it away to reveal a different look for your reception.

Embellishment ~ The bridal trend for texture is one of the key looks for this season. With bold 3D effects and decadent details these textured wedding gowns are perfect for the bride who wants to shine. From boho laces and intricate floral embellishments to luxe sequins and beading, these gowns have flow and movement thanks to great cut and glistening effects. Our newest designer Lusan Mandongus are genius when it comes to beading.
